Green Horizon Initiative is a fictional branding project I created as a personal design exercise to strengthen my portfolio and explore a complete visual identity system from concept to application.
The goal of the project was to develop a nature-focused nonprofit brand centered around sustainable gardening, conservation, and community education. I created the logo, color palette, typography direction, brand mood board, business card design, and rack card concept to show how the identity could work across both brand guidelines and printed materials.
This project allowed me to practice building a cohesive brand system, including logo variations, pattern development, print layout, and promotional collateral, while focusing on a calm, approachable, and environmentally inspired visual style.
Developed a flexible logo system with primary, horizontal, icon-only, one-color, and reversed versions to ensure the brand mark works across multiple applications.
Established the visual direction for Green Horizon Initiative through an earthy color palette, natural textures, botanical imagery, and a soft editorial presentation style.
Applied the identity system to business cards, pairing the circular logo with a custom botanical pattern to create a professional and memorable brand touchpoint.
